By the point of divorce, it is usually war, especially if there are kids and assets involved. It is important to locate assets that your spouse may have hidden. Usually prior to a divorce one spouse will start putting money aside in a seperate account to help with moving expenses in case of a break up. (this is ok) but a lot of times a spouse will try to hide assets after a seperation is filed, and that would be construed as intent to defraud. Child custody is another issue one might deal with in a divorce. This is usualy the worst part of a divorce. Money and assets are usualy easy do divide, kids on the other hand are a different story. How does one decide how much time the other deserves? and who gets primary custody? Most times that is why I am hired, one parent wants to prove the other an unfit parent. Keep in mind, in every divorce case, the child loses. |
